I am sitting in a virtual class at Teachers College, Columbia University. Professor Gundaker is sick. I took a chance to attend via zoom. We begin talking about military uses of technology - class is Technology and Culture. Military uses of technology are obviously “homeless”. Right? Homeless, as in, the military sees enlisted men as many see the homeless; as invisible, as expendable.
